القرآن الكريم كتابٌ منزلٌ لهداية البشرية وإصلاح حياة الفرد والجماعة المسلمة في جميع مناحي الحياة. وإذا علم المسلم أنَّ قراءة القرآن سبباً في علو درجته عند ربّه -عزّ وجلّ- أقبل على قراءته وحفظه وتدبره. وحرصاً منا على تطوير المدرسة العربية ، ودعم طلابنا بما يصب في مصلحتهم الدينية والدنيوية قررنا فتح نادي للقرآن، يُعنى بتحفيظ القرآن، وقراءته، وتعلم أحكام تجويده للراغبين بذلك، دون أن يكون ذلك على حساب المواد الرئيسية من لغة عربية وتربية إسلامية. وتتلخص فكرة النادي بأن نضع خطة تحفيظ مختلفة لكل عضو، تتناسب مع الاحتياجات والقدرات الفردية له، وإمكانيات أولياء أموره على المتابعة. وقد عينا مدرسةً خصيصًا لهذا الغرض، وهي ذات خبرة في تعليم أحكام التجويد وقراءة القرآن. و ستقوم أثناء الدوام بالتسميع لأعضاء النادي وتحديد الآيات المطلوب حفظها أو مراجعتها للسبت الذي يليه. هذا بالنسبة لصفوف الأول فما فوق. أما طلاب التمهيدي والروضة فسيدرسةن داخل صفوفهم ما عدا من يحفظ أكثر بكثير من الآخرين داخل الصف.. إننا نعتقد أن هذه الفكرة ستحقق فائدة كبيرة جدًا، ولكننا نؤكد وبشدة أن مسؤولية التحفيظ تقع على عاتق الأهل، فالمدرسة ستقوم بدورها بوضع خطة الطالب للحفظ، وستقوم بمراجعة حفظه، وتصحيح قراءته، كما ويمكن للأهل الاستعانة بالمواد المسموعة الكثيرة مثل التطبيقات و القلم القارئ للقرآن او اليوتيوب. سائلين المولى القدير أن يوفقنا لما يحبه ويرضاه، وأن يحفظ أبناءنا ويجعلهم من الحافظين لكتاب الله، العاملين بأحكامه.

The Quran has been revealed to guide humanity and reform the life of the individual and the Muslim community in all aspects of life. If a Muslim knows that reading the Qur'an is a reason for his high rank with his Lord, the Almighty, he will be very keen to recite, learn and reflect. So we decided as part of the development plan for our school this year (among many other changes) to open a club for the Qur'an, which is concerned with memorizing the Qur'an, reading it, and learning the rules of its recitation (Tajwid) for those who wish to do so, without being at the expense of the main subjects of Arabic language and Islamic education. The idea of the club is to develop a different memorization plan for each member, corresponding with the individual needs and abilities of the student. So we have appointed a teacher specifically for this purpose, who has much experience in teaching the rulings of Tajweed and recitation of the Qur'an. During the school time, we will review the memorization of members of the club, and determine the verses to be memorized or reviewed in the next lesson. This applies to classes of year 1 upwards. As for reception, they will learn inside their classes, except those who know much more than their class mates. We believe that this idea will be of great benefit, but we strongly emphasize that this will not exempt parents from their required role in following up with their children on their memorization of Quran. The school will in turn develop the student's plan for memorization, and we will review it, correct their reading, and draw their attention to the errors of recitation. And parents should play their role during the week in the memorization process, or they can use the many audio materials that can support the parents in this. We ask Allah the Almighty to help us with what He Loves and what Pleases Him, to save our children and make them among the keepers of the Book of Allah, glorified and exhalted is He, and abiding by its rules.

مكافئة الطلبة عل انجازاتهم أمر مهم جدًا من أجل تحفيزهم وحثهم على العمل، ولا شيء يستحق المكافئة أكثر من الحفظ لكتاب الله عز وجل. هل ترغب بالتبرع بأي مبلغ بحيث نقوم بتخصيصه حصرًا كجوائز للأطفال مقابل اجتهادهم في حفظ القرآن وتعلم أحكام التجويد؟ إن كان الجواب بنعم، كم المبلغ الذي ترغب بتفديمه؟

Rewarding students for their achievements and motivating them is absolutely crucial in the learning process, and nothing deserves to be rewarded more than memorizing the book of Allah the Almighty.
